Thank you for having our back. You invested and our communities are stronger.
A few weeks ago our team came together with our sister Native Vote groups from across the western U.S. to reflect on 2025 and plan for the 2026 Midterms, the next Census count, and more. At the end of our first day we huddled around a fireplace and I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude for the work we accomplished this year. We are building community. We are resilient, brilliant, and we are fostering connections based on the deep values of Ké–Kinship and relationships–and we are showing up for one another when it matters most.
Let’s take stock of everything our team accomplished this year: Listening sessions; we expanded our culturally-competent Indigenous Democracy Classes; trained more Young Civic Fellows; sent thousands of postcards and we made hundreds of wellbeing phone calls; and we provided timely policy testimony to decision- makers. Whew. That’s just a bit about what we've been doing. I am energized by the strong community behind us, the people who support our work. That’s you. Our many friends of Arizona Native Vote.
We have ambitious plans for 2026. This includes our Finding Home Project which will help disenfranchised voters ensure their ballots are counted, 2030 Census prep work with the White Mountain and San Carlos Apache tribes, and increasing voter turnout in the midterms. We are moving people to action.
Stay connected with us in 2026! On behalf of the Arizona Native Vote team, thank you.
