We’re back to school!

Indigenous Democracy Class is in session!

Triston, Kaia, and Theresa are currently scheduled at four schools on Navajo, Hopi, and White Mountain Apache tribal lands to deliver our Indigenous Democracy Class (IDC) presentation and interactive workshops. We can’t wait to see our younger relatives and reconnect with our incredible teachers this fall semester! It’s time to connect our youth to what’s happening in the civic sphere in 2025, and get excited about the 2026 Midterms.

Indigenous Democracy Class now reflects Hopi and Apache lessonsOne very cool update from our Indigenous Democracy Class team is that with our expansion into Hopi and White Mountain Apache lands, we’ve worked with local culture keepers to customize our first curriculum, created for Diné schools, with customized information and lessons highlighting the unique voice and culture of Hopi and Apache communities. We are excited to expand our curriculum!
